Craggy has indicated that this thread is about Palermo

I'm thinking of traveling to Palermo with my girlfriend for a few days next June. We're after somewhere that might have a bit of sunshine. Does anybody have any advice on Palermo, or any better suggestions in Southern Italy? I only ever seem to read things relating to crime in Palermo, but it looks like a beautiful city. And obviously I'm aware of the mafiosi associations.
Anyway any help would be great

I have never been but I know a few people who have and they were not too complementary about it! I would say there are many better places to stay in southern Italy.

Hi, June is beautiful for Palermo, the city isn't dangerous, you can stay a few day in Palermo for visit many expecially church, theatre, museum, you can enjoy the local kitchen and visit the night places and than you might go to Cefal├╣ or Castellammare del Golfo for the sea. Cefal├╣ or Castellammare are two little sunshine near Palermo. If you want more informatio you can write me.
