KyleMac has indicated that this thread is about South America

Hey guys,

We are travelling throughout South America for around 5 months and are not sure where to head for Christmas and New Year. Has anyone spent these holidays in South America? Where do you think will be a good festive place to be? We really have no idea what to expect with South America so any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers, Kyle

Do you have any idea of which country you're gonna be?
For New Years eve:
If you're in Brazil go to the big beach cities, specially Rio
If you're in Peru, Cusco is good place
In Equador head to MontaƱita
These are the main places I know
For Christmas I don't thing it makes much of a difference as most people stay at home with their families

Thanks for the reply.

Not sure where we will be yet. We're in Peru at the moment and most probably heading anti-clockwise around the continent, so possibly like Argentina or Uruguay for Christmas and maybe Brazil for NYE, still not sure though .

Cheers, Kyle
