Do tell me when you succeed. I am planning a trip to Bangkok soon i plan to explore every bit of it.and your experience may be of help to me :)
I am super excited as i have been googling a lot about the land and the people and have already decided all the places i am going to see. I also plan to get a few suits made to give Bangkok suiting a try. I have heard -snip- are good. Any feedback people?

How curious, 7 minutes earlier you had already "enjoyed seeing every little bit of Bangkok."
When you're trying to promote a tailor (seriously?!) do try to be a bit more consistent about it.

Arriving for the first time in Bangkok it is helpful to have a place to direct the taxi driver to. Especially if you have one of the flights from N. America that arrive at Suvarnabhumi late at night. Late at night you may only have a taxi available for your transportation. During the day hours up to midnight you also have rail service to the Pratunam area where you can connect with the subway or Skytrain.

Even if you arrive earlier and want to wing it have some hotel suggestions to head for. If you want a hotel suggestion at that time also mention how much per night you want to spend on a room. Once you are in Thailand you can also just call up some hotels and ask the hotel to hold a room for you.

We left bangkok 5 days ago and stayed at the dang derm on Khosan, would deff recommend it if u don't mind the noise coming from the party's on the road.

Cost was 1100THB tho so just over wot u wanted to pay. It comes with breakfast, WiFi in public areas, en-suite it also has a pool on the roof to escape from the Bangkok madness. We booked it on booking.com where u don't pay untill arrival and it can be cancelled up to 3 days b4 arrival without charge which is cool for any last min change of plans or u find something u like more.

Have a wicked trip.

Leight.
