Hi Donna, I stayed in Ulji-ro Co-op residence in Dongdaemun Stadium on my last visit in year 2004. This apartment is very clean and bright and is next to the subway station in Gangbuk.
If you prefer a more vibrant city crowd, you may consider to stay in Gangnam district. You can try M Chereville and Coatel Cherville serviced apartment.

Hi Donna,

I noticed you posted a similar thread on 9th February entitled IRISH GIRLS DONT KNOW ABOUT SEOUL??HELP

Great to see that you've got a response this time round. Can you please turn your caps lock off on your keyboard?

I stayed at the New Oriental in Myeong Dong in Seoul, which was cheap and reasonable quality (not spick and span, but big en suite rooms). Sorry, I don't know the website address off-hand, but ti should be quite easy to find.
