I'm going to spend two weeks there. Which places in Thailand are you planning to visit? K

Hi Sam,

Im in the same situation. Am fed up with this country and its silly ways, and have always had travelling in my heart. I want to do exactly the same countries as you. Im a 25 yr old female from South East England. Although ive got friends that still say they want to come yet have not saved...I've given up on them and have come to the conclusion im going on my own!

I've never travelled alone and the thought sounds daunting but have had very good advice from friends and now feel more confident. Would love to meet up with similar, fun loving people along the way.

Im looking to go beg March for few months

hi guy's and girl's...

Firstly dont ever be put off or scared of travelling alone...I think everybody feels these nerves and anxiety about doing this for there first time..the first time i went to Thailand i remember getting off the plane in Bangkok and queuing to go through immigration,i was like, damm what the hell am i doing,i was so far out my comfort zone and felt really quite usnsure about what i was letting myself in for,but thats what makes the travelling experience so exciting and just dont really know what your going into!!
I love Thailand so much, although i think it has become a little clichy and westernised in places...for culture id recomend heading north, chiang mai and chiang rai, then maybe take a flight down to ko Samui or Phuket for beaches and partying, although phuket is very expensive and over crowded with tourists, sometimes it can feel more like your sat on a beach in magaluf!!great for partying on the famous Bangla road though, but make sure you go with an open
I would say a minimum of a month is needed for Thailand and then maybe two weeks to head up into laos or cambodia, but really 2-3 months is needed to do more, laos, vietnam, cambodia all together!!!will be heading out myself in march april time for 3 months, feel free to keep in touch or ask for any information or advice...

Best you just book the ticket and go. You can get all your shorter flights after you arrive SEA. Check to Cambo, very cheap. Try not to make too busy a schedule or you may not enjoy as much ..... plenty of time.

I am living in Thailand if you have any specific questions.

For six weeks ..
I would suggest Chronologically

Thailand // Cambodia // Vietnam.

If u have another week in hand then worth spending in Cebu (Philippines) lush green valley’s & virgin beaches… finally to relax yourself before backpacking home.
