Hi

I'm traveling alone to Thailand, planning on teaching in the Phuket Province. I love the idea of living on the beach in a bungalow, any good, safe, cheap recommendations?

Thanks for the help! Safe travels to all!

Kayla

Kayla,
I have a few suggestions. This one is north of Phuket. Koh Jum is not too far from krabi. Both would be OK for a holiday, not sure it would work out for your teaching career.

I think once you are there, the locals might have some good suggestions for you. Good luck with your planning.

Stay away from Patong Beach. No bueno.

Patong is the center of the sexy nightlife on Phuket. If you are looking at beach bungalows, I doubt you want girls, boys and ladyboys offering their services in every bar you go in.
