Hi Vanessa,
my name is Shannon, I am a travel agent in Canada and I am helping some girls plan a trip to Tomorrowland 2012 :) I was an intern in Belgium in 2009 and my fiancé in Belgian, and a friend of mine was a barman at Tomorrowland last year!so here are some tips:

First of all, you will probably be flying in directly to the Zaventem airport. From there you just need to go down a few floors to find the train station, a train leaves every 15 minutes or so for Brussels (from there you can either continue on the same train straight to a few big cities OR transfer ).
I recommend a train ticket from Zaventem to Brussel Zuid Station( brussels south station AKA Gare du midi-everything is in French and dutch in Brussels). That ticket would cost 14.40 Euros return in first class. Now first class is not something I usually recommend, but in this case , trust me its worth it. You could be lucky and find a half empty train, however chances are you wont be lucky and you will be crowded with your luggage and nowhere to sit while in the next car over every seat is empty...the 1st class car ! After a long flight , it just sucks to fight for an inch of seat for 20 minutes.

Now depending how long you are in Belgium, I recommend visiting some of Brussels, Gent and Brugges mainly.

For tomorrowland, you can buy your 3 day festival pass and then add sleeping arrangements on location:
Option 1: rent a camping spot. This involves taking a tent to Belgium...not super convenient but doable
Option 2: Easy tent. This ticket is for 2 people, they set you up with a tomorrowland tent in the campsite and its a 5 day pass including the opening party
Option 3 : relax rooms . This is again a ticket for 2 people and you get a tiny room with an actual bed and a door that locks so you can keep your important stuff safe ie: passports!

There is also a mansion option but its luxurious for nothing and expensive so not worth it imo!

That last option comes to 645$ canadian for : check in Thursday the 25th, opening party at 2pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of crazy festival fun, and then check out Monday.

They have free transport to and from the festival(which is outside town) so you can get to and from the train station and festival with that.
Boom( the town the festival is near) is close to Antwerp which is an Ok place to visit, lots of shopping, not my favorite city in Belgium at all though.

Hope this helped!!:)
Shannon

PS : beer is pricey at the festival according to Belgians, where normally bear is 1 to 3 euros, at the festival you can expect to pay 4 to 6 euros .
Theres a ''boozebag'' for 50 euros, gives you 35 tomorrowland vouchers for food and drinks and comes in a tomorrowland purse/ bag.

Hey my name’s Laura, I’m another person going to Tomorrowland alone, and would love to meet others also going. I’m so excited :) I’ll be travelling from New Zealand and want to spend a bit of time in Europe afterwards, hopefully go to other festivals, although I haven’t made any plans yet.

After reading this whole thread, I thought I’d try post here to see if there has already been some kind of group organised getting together instead of messaging lots of individual people first :)

@brunoOliveira ...

How does this ticket site have the ability to announce and even sell tickets before the official tomorrowland page :s this seems a little fishy to me, however the line up sounds fu**ing amazing so far :) im sure this cannot be real tickets so early tho, excuse my ignorance if i am wrong.

Also Bruno, it would be a pleasure for myself and friends to party with you, maybe we can arrange a few groups from here to meet at a central location then we can feel free to meet up whenever we feel :) we will be going for all 3 days if we can so are looking for a place to stay but would like to camp on site if anyone can confirm there will be on site camping.

@SEE03

Where from Manchester are your friends, i also go creamfields and it would be good to meet up on route or even there in Belgium :) this is also our first time but it will be an experience never forgotten!

All your thoughts ...

My friend and I are coming from Florida and would love to get together with a group of people and go.

Hello everyone. Good information here, thanks to all that can shed some light on the Tomarrowland experience!

Quick question to those who have attended;
Two of my friends and myself will be attending Tomarrowland for 2012. Really looking forward to it and would like to rent luxary rooms or at least camp. However being that theres three of us and on the dreamvile website it stated to rent a tent or luxary room is a minimum of two people each. This will be a problem because coming from state side we wont be able to bring tents or much supplies so our only option ia to rent. So i guess my question is can either A: We get two luxary rooms/tents even though we have an odd number? Or B: Can three people stay in a luxary room?(skeptical about this one, three dudes in a bed? I dont know...)

If anyone has any info or expirence regarding this issue post up please :)

I came across this website looking for tips on Tomorrowland since me and a couple friends are going there for the first time. I'm originally from Florida too, but I live in Finland now. Would be awesome to meet some Americans there!

btw, could anyone say about how much money is needed in the festival area for food/drinks etc?
