I'm rolling out to Tomorrowland with 3 of my friends and we are down to meet up with anyone coming from North America. We are from San Diego and will be traveling throughout Europe for a few weeks in July-Aug. Its our first time in Europe so any advice and tips would be great.

Thanks to Pavness for posting the detailed information above! I felt like Boom was out in the middle of nowhere. It sounds like we would be able to take public transit to get back to whatever hotel we're staying at.

I'm guessing most of the hotels are booked up. I've sent out an email to one waiting for a response and will be hitting up more hotels in the area to see if we can get a room. I want to be secure knowing I have a hotel room to stumble back too after getting trashed at the festival. I can't wait!!!

Hit me up on Facebook if you want to meet up, collaborate on a plan, or share some tips. http://www.facebook.com/dancarrjr

Don't mention it...just pasted already available info. In case u don't get a hotel (and it's better if you don't!), check out the camping option on dreamville.be although u can only get a camping ticket once u have the festival ticket. Good luck :-)

PS: If u get a hotel then it seems you'll have to organise for transport with your hotel whatever time the festival ends...

We want to go camping, but we'll probably only be at the festival for 2 days. We were wondering if there is any place out there where we can just rent camping gear for a couple of days. We would hate to buy some camping gear for 2 days and have to lug it around Europe with us for 2 weeks. We won't be camping anywhere else.

We were also thinking of just buying some cheap tents and then maybe getting rid of them there, giving the to someone, or trashing them. Whatever is easier, but either way, that would be a waste of $100 on a tent.

Also, if we stayed in a tent, where can we keep out stuff secure? I don't want to leave all of my belongings in a tent for someone to roam through. I was thinking of just locking up some of my stuff in a locker at a train station. By any chance do they have big lockers at the festival grounds where we can lock up most of our stuff. I would only take a small pack and stuff that i wouldn't mind losing and keeping it in the tent as we camp.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Dan,

The thing is, I'm not Belgian! Well, I happen to be living in Belgium now and I've been here for a couple of months so also trying to find my way around! A Belgian national, and especially one from that region would be best placed to advise you on this. Friends are telling me to not worry about the tents right now. Once you get the tickets, everything will fall into place somehow! But I'll sure fill you in on any info on renting tents once I get that but probably that's after getting the tickets. And yes, there are lockers at the festival to be rented at 5 Euros, but then u have to pay 6 Euros as deposit, refundable on return of the locker keys. The lockers are quite big (I'm meant to understand) so u can safely stow away your valuables. Apparently, no incidences have been reported with regards to the lockers (hearsay). All the best!

Hey all, name's Tucker and I'm coming from LA to meet up with some of my UK friends in Belgium. I have a few questions, though.

Showers. Shit gets nasty quick at festivals, is there any package that includes a place to clean up?

I know the comfort package is a bit more, but it includes beds and food?

Legal drinking age is 18, no? How much can one expect to be spending on beer/liquor while there.

Would it be cheaper to just get a hotel with some people and travel?

Here's my facebook if its easier to contact me there: https://www.facebook.com/wtb1993
