Travel Forums General Talk Carrying my degree

Hey guys, I'm arriving in Melbourne in 6 weeks. (jan 10th) and I have a quick question. How do you carry proof of your degree when travelling? I don't want to carry my origional, and I am not sure if a photocopy is sufficient?

Cheers,
Darren :D

No need to carry anything. Scan it and save it on your email account. If anyone needs it you email them a copy. An original means nothing... forgery is too easy these days and any serious employer will want to verify its authenticity independently.

Cheers,
Terry

(Scanning ALL your important documents and storing them on a secure site is a good idea for back-up that's easily available almost anywhere.)

There is no need to carry your degree with you. Just keep copy of it in your mail or you can also take xerox copy of it instead of original with you.
