hey guys, i know that western australias economy is going to rise over the next 10 years, so if no luck with jobs western oz will be ur best bet. If u have skills which are in demand ur be ok for work. Have a look at taw website and working in australia websites. You can actually pay the taw and theyll help you find work etc. Hope that helps. Il be heading out in april now depending on my visa and registration form hope they dont take to long as i have to do medicals etcx

Shellben, you from Glasgow as well?

I'll probably go from London, working out about £200 cheaper - and you can always get the Megabus for about £25 to London!

hey Graeme, i live in aberdeen at the mo but from a scottish island. Ive flown from glasgow before and thought emirates were good. Dont u just love the megabus there not the most reliable tho il warn you, ull prob know that tho, ur ok if ur early but some connections can be dodge ie not enough seats, which would stress me out. Im waiting to get my medical etc done so hoping my visa will be ready for april. Hope to leave from london to melbourne then. Not sure where il work tho to start with. I saw flights from gatwick to melbourne for £735 which is good. i may have to use the megabus tho due to the money situ. Will have to get used to public transport lol. when to do head out?

Ah right. Aberdeen eh? Unlucky!!

I'm from East Kilbride, so just outside Glasgow.
Megabus is okay, as you say can be murder at times but might well be worth it if its coming in a lot cheaper.

I seen cheaper flights than that on skyscanner.net.

Looks like the confirmed date is 27th Feb, probs lands in Melbourne around March the 12th to 17th.

Ill have a look on there. Its not far away, still need to do some last minute savings lol. Am sure megabus will be an option for me to. Thats cool il be a month after you when i arrive.
