Troops 'kill terrorists' who kidnapped Australian

63. Posted by Sam I Am (Admin 5588 posts) 3y

Frail and emaciated when he was freed, Mr Rodwell is recuperating in Queensland, where he is believed to be considering television requests to sell the story of his horrific ordeal.

Would surely be interesting to watch!

A Google online search of Australian television Channel 7 TODAY TONIGHT with these words, "There was once a time when Australians were welcome anywhere in the world" may just do the trick..

The result that popped up first didn't work for me (probably because I'm not in Australia), but this one does. Thanks for sharing!

How terrifying

It's good to see Warren looking healthy again and able to talk about his kidnapping. No matter what my past feelings were, he has earned my respect when it comes to his life-threatening ordeal.

This thread hasn't been active for over 30 days but there is fresh news that as January 1, 2015 , Cambridge Scholars Publishing, United Kingdom have released the biography book " 472 Days Captive of the Abu Sayyaf - The Survival of Australian Warren Rodwell " by independent researcher Dr Bob East. It's available in hardcover and Kindle editions. Anyone going to the CSP webpage, can read the extract free.

Did someone say a movie? No public mention of that yet but there's been radio interviews on ABC Australia national "Sunday Profile" and The Chris Brake Show in Indianapolis USA. Both are easy to find online

I did check out the CSP website searching the title above and it failed. I then used Dr Bob East and the book is available here:

Thanks again newzhownd for the new information. :)

I might take a look.

I must say I was expecting Wocca to pop up on 60 Minutes or do some sort of series of interviews, and am surprised that he hasn't. I bet he'd have some stories to tell.
