Hey guys!

My mate and I are from Australia and are doing a short trip to the Greek Islands for only 2 weeks (limited because of work/uni). We leave Athens on the 25th of July, however, we're contemplating on whether or not to extend our trip for a few days and fly all the way to Brussels for Tomorrowland 2012. Now, this would be forking out a further $1K (approx.) for change of flights, accom, tix etc. Do you guys think it's worth it? Should we just go for it?

Any advice/responses would be greatly appreciated

Cheers,

Linda

Hello fellow TL goers!!!!

Im from Boston, USA and going to tomorrowland this year :) I have already booked my hotel package which includes 3 nights at a hotel, comfort pass and transfers from festival to hotel!! Im flying solo but meeting up with a friend at the hotel. Really excited as this is my first music festival i will be going to. Im also going to Amsterdam either before or after for a day or 2. I have a few questions...

Can you drink on the festival ground? I saw something that said you can only drink in the dream ville area?

What is the best way to get to amsterdam from brussels and vice versa?

Where should i stay in Amsterdam, hotel or hostel?

How is the situation with "naughty stuff" at the festival lol

If someone could shed some light on this i would appreciate it :) and also contact me if you would like to join me in amsterdam or meet up at the festival! Im going with one person and I feel like it would be more fun if i was with a big group of people. Looking forward to hearing back!

Cheers,
Serdar

Hey Linda, I'm heading over from Aus to (already posted earlier on, just in case you didn't see).

I definitely think it would be worth an extra thousand, I mean doing a festival in Australia ends up costing about the same with accom etc, and this will be soooo much better :)

Plus how many times will you be in the area to even have the chance to do something like this?

Hi everyone, my name is Natasha, im 24 from LA. My best friend and I are leaving to Tomorrowland 2012 on July 5-30. We are going to Belgium Berlin Prauge Vienna Paris Amsterdam Zurich and then back to Boom for the festival. Of anyone wants to meet up or is interested in going with us, contact me via email it won't allow me to write it like an email so it's -snip-. I have not succumbed to joining the social media network we all know as Facebook but my best friend has his page. Email me, let me know if your going. Everyone is welcome, just be cool, intelligent, kind and ready to have a great time traveling and seeing what this beautiful world has to offer. We love to party of coarse, but we are also spending a relatively good amount of time at the museums and other historical spots. Hope to hear from you!!

[ Edit: Sorry, no personal details please. ]

Hi all! I'm from portugal and i'm going this year, very excited! I would like to know from you if it is possible to leave tomorrowland to go for example to dreamville eat something on the tent and then get back to tomorrowland (all in the same day) ?

Thanks!

HI,
In the past no you carnt. tomorrowland would not make any money on the food or drink stalls if you could do that, so they say once your in tomorrowland theres no coming out for that day. just eat a big meal at dinner and when you get into tomorrowland get snacks to top your energy levels up. hope this has helped.

Thanks for the answer mate :P But i didn't get the part where you say to get a good dinner and then get into tomorrowland! Aren't all the stages inside tomorrowland ? Doesn't it open at 11am ?

- Where can we charge the phones and camera's there? Is there a place where we're near our stuff waiting for it charge or is it some kind of locker style where we left it there and then come back a few hours later ? I'm asking this because i'm not sure if i should bring my iphone or not..

- In terms of costs there, food and drinks, how's it like ?

- Last year i went to a festival with around 60,000 camping and i had a terrible experience regarding assaults, lots of people saw their stuff gone and i would like to know if tomorrowland is like that too or not!

I'm really looking forward for your help here!! I've been trying to ask this but no one seems able to answer me!

THANKS

Does anyone know the difference between the Full Madness Pass and the Full Madness Comfort Pass?

hi
Full madness pass=no vip.
Full madness comfort = vip.
Its not really much differance the vip pass just means theres abit more room for ye to dance on vip platforms. where the normal pass does not let you access to these dance platforms. hope this has helped.

ok thank you! would you recommend the vip or the not vip? its my first time going aha, have you been before? :)

HI,
TBH. if its your 1st time i would go with the vip, the main dance floors can get a bit mental and if your not use to it can be a bit daunting, at least if you pay that little bit extra for vip you can go to the vip dance platforms and have a little breather best ov both worlds. hoped this has helped.

HI.
mate ye need to stop worrying dreamvilla has everything in there even a supermarket, stalls food and drink, lockers, charging points the only thing thats not there is the stages like you said. i stay in dreamvilla till about 2pm then go to tomorrowland, i saw alot ov peeps in tomorrowland at about 6pm totally wasted you start to early and trust me you are not going to last.

now across the road is tomorrowland with everything you need plus all ov the fantastic madness no need to worry.

food and drink in my view is not that bad for a festival. £3.50 beer £4-6 for a good meal. but ye can buy a boozebag for 50euros has 35 vouchers for food and drink which is good value.

so sorry to hear you had a terrible time, when ye put that many peeps in one place with beer it can happen, iam not going to lie to you. but i can tell you that dreamvilla and tomorrowland is put together very well, i have never had any trouble there, just use common sense and you will be fine.if it makes you feel better i will give you my number closer to the day and you and your friends can come and camp near me and my lot i dont mind if it makes you feel safer.
hope this has helped.
