The sound of scrambling through a field tripping over temt strings sounds EXACTLY like my idea of fun! I think you have a point though where if your going to do it you might as well properly do it! Haha! As for the bullying don't worry I've had a word with myself and I am completely over it I've done Leeds last year but that's it?! Never done anything like this before but I'm not scared haha! And don't worry I will be coming back with enough F.E.A.R for everyone! Where about's are you travelling from?
Sx

Lol it is a lot of fun (notso much for the people whos tent you're fall on tho theres a lot of 'oops sorry'…..'sh1t... morning' ha ha), me and my mate had this joy at Creamfields at about 3.30am, took about an hr and half to realize we werent even in the correct zone where our tent was lol. I just think its better campin out as you get to soak up more of the atmosphere than if you stayed in hotel or something, also meetin randomers is one of the best parts of a festival in my opinion. Glad you got over the 'Bullyin' S,would hate to think Id upset a fellow F.E.A.R sufferer Id be flyin out from Dublin, Im from Belfast but the flights are much handier from Dublin. Im just tryin to see if I can fit this around my holiday to Ibiza which is usually in July, the video from the last years Tomorrowland got me hooked

Hey, all! I'm from Toronto, Canada! :)

Who's looking at going too other music fests before/and or after Tomorrowland?

drive to folkstone and get the euro tunnel to calias (sp) then drive to boom, it's not as far as you think -snip- (this will involve some one driving back from down south on a massive come down) I think the camping would be all part of the fun and games though! There is a facebook page for the festival which is really helpful as well as most of the people on there have been and are quite clued up

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please. ]

Thinking about doing a festival this year and havnt done Tomorrowland before so very tempted by it. The best way to experience any festival is to camp it out, with it being end of July Im sure the weather will be sweet for it, stayin in hotel/hostel is cheating....cough hartbreaker lol. Also wouldnt recommend any kind of driving home from it, lack of sleep after 3 days of partying and driving in a foreign country is asking for trouble, best thing is take the easy option and fly to and from, the train network in Belgium is very good so shouldnt have any problems with those. Flying into Dam and getting the train up could work out a decent option, done that before for I Love Techno (altho that was in Ghent) n it was sweet, very reliable. Any kinda smugglin is easy enough also ;)

For the past few years I've taken a ferry from Dover to Dunkirk and done festivals in Austria and La Tomatina in Southern Spain. I'd say to everyone that driving around and making it into more of an Adventure is THE best thing ever! It's so good waking up in the morning and being able to drive wherever you want! Plus, you can sleep in the car if you can't find somewhere/wanna save some money... x

So whos going from the UK? Im going from Scarborough in Yorkshire was thinking about driving there is a few of us if anyone would want to join and make a convoy?

There's a bunch of us from Sheffield that are thinking of driving over. Are you booking the ferry or anything yet? Want to get stuff organised but don't want to waste money if theres a chance we might not be able to get tickets...

I havent booked anything yet for that exact reason, if you want to organise something we could make it a convoy?

Im from Northern Ireland and planning a trip to this, I was thinking of flying to Amsterdam and staying a night and then taking the train to Antwerp and booking a hotel there. Can anyone advise if this would be the best option or if there is any better options available to me?

hi mate me and me 2 mates also travelling from london and still thinking how to get there. how much would be that eurostar to brussels? wouldnt it be better to get that ferry from hull to zeebrugge and then from that place to boom? i think cheaper and maybe safer if we are about to take some naughty stuff (we are planning that as well). As jone5 asked, any1 informed how does it look with naughty stuff during the trip and on the festival (security checks etc)?

Hello All,

Apologies to you for the slight change of subject, I am organising the trip for a large number of people and some of us plan to drive down in a Winnebago. I am aware that this may be a simple question but once at Tomorrowland what is the vibe with parking? Also is there a cost for using a Winnebago on site to stay in, would it be aloud into the grounds?

I would really appreciate any help you guys have on the subject.

More about Belgium

Small, quiet and unassuming, Belgium has everything its popular neighbours have, but goes relatively unnoticed by many travellers. Its extraordinary artistic heritage puts it on the map for art-lovers, but the country's delights extend well beyond the artistic realm.
