With a young family and a demanding job, I don't get as much of an opportunity to get on TP as I used to, and as I'd like to. Nor do I get the opportunity to do much travel these days (apart from the daily grind to and from work). I've done a lot of travel in the past, but I get a lot of inspiration from reading everyone's posts and seeing their photos of distant places. I particularly enjoy reading the posts from people, both young and old, who are embarking on their first great adventure. I can certainly recall that feeling of excitement and fear myself. Travel is, afterall, the ultimate drug.
Anyway, I've made a lot of friends on TP over the years (I think I've been a member since 2002) and I'd like to wish them, and everyone, a very Merry Christmas, a safe and peaceful new year, and happy travels for 2012.
Thanks James (aka member no.111 ),
Hope you have a great Christmas as well!
Wishing James, Peter and every other person here on TP a merry Christmas as well and of course a great 2012!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!!!
Does this make Santa the ultimate Round the World Traveler? If anyone has any spare flying reindeer out there, I think I can mock together a sleigh.....
To all of our TP friends and family - A very Merry and Pirate-y Christmas frm Captain Isa and the crew of the ship!!!
We'll be around in case Santa needs some help delivering all of the gifts and goodies. Okay, being pirates and all, some may not make it to the right homes, but we'll try not to plunder too much. Promise!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year around the world!!!
James, those were some nice words. I hope you will get new opportunities to travel again in the near future.
For everyone else out there. Have a very Merry Christmas (be it with snow, or around the barbeque), and have a very good 2012.
(first time I read Isa's post, I was reading private Christmas ... wondering why it needed to be private ... )
To all TPers,
Here's wishing all of you a very Happy Christmas!
Hohohoho, Merry Christmas to all! And of course the more politically correct "Happy holidays!" too. Hopefully you've been able to have a day or two enjoying it and eating way too much...
I hope all here at TP have a very Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays if that applies) and that 2012 is a great year for all of us.
Remember, Las Vegas will be hosting 350,000 visitors for fireworks over the Strip and a block party down on the Fremont Street Experience! Best place for Americans to ring in the new year!! Well, some might vote for Times Square NYC, but other than that!!
