Am also 24 year old girl from belfast! I will be flyin from london gatwick to sydney on 3rd of sept! Very excited but nervous also this is a great wee sit am hopin to met a few people who are also wanting to travel x

haha i love that i found this site! i havent booked any flights as yet just starting to look at when and where is the best time to go? are you planning on staying out there for some time? I looking to go from 6 months to a year ooking forward to getting away from the uk for a bit

I land on the 1st may in Sydney I plan on doing the oz intro week so can meet new people i have been told it is really good. So don't know if that's something you would be interested in?

Well I'm taking a gap year and planning to work for the first 6 months or so and then leave for Oz in Jan '13! Cannot wait! But I've been doing a bit of research and I'm really tempted by the Oz Intro week and the reviews are all really good... So I think I may end up going with them and then working in Sydney and then go off travelling around Oz! That's the master plan and fingers crossed it will become a reality! X

hi Allison,

I am planning to travel australia. On August 21, I'm scheduled to arrive Sydney. I'm traveling alone as well. My plan is to back pack australia for a month.Sydney first, then Brisbane, and up north to Uluru and Alice Springs. Depart at Darwin.
My plans are very tentative yet, coz i'l be doing it alone. It would be nice to have a travel buddy.
