oh right i see. I am thinking of getting a return, because with STA travel you can change the date for free so its nice to have the security of a flight home i guess x

Oh they told me I would have to pay to change the flight as you can only book a year from when you book the flight. I was told there were cheap flights from Oz.
I'm also hoping to go thailand at the end of my trip.

Are you going to melbourne or sydney, have you decided on a starter pack yet?

Erm flight price bout same price & cheaper starter packages in Melbourne.

So geographically makes sense to start in Melbourne :) so I thinks that's the plan. Still hoping to go mid match - think same time as you said u was going. :)

I land in Melbourne on 13th March, so if your going around that time and want to meet up be great to be with someone els edoing the same thing. Currently looking at hotels/ hostels now to find the best deal x

Yeah that would be great - hoping to mid march - (wait for last pay at beginning of March!)

I can't believe how expensive the hostels are :( I am still researching. but it is a busy time in Melbourne around that time you got the mardi gra n the grand prix

Hi,

I am wanting to book a hostel for a few nights when I arrive in melbourne. The cheapest I seem to find is around £19-£20 a night, (ones that have had decent reviews). Has anyone found anything cheaper?
