Hi guys,

I'm going to the Full Moon alone 3-5 August - can anyone advise me on where would be best to stay to meet people/close to full moon/safe?

Also, if anyone else is travelling around these dates let me know!

I will be there too then. Will be my 6th moon party lol. You will need to get to Phangan at least 4 days before the moon party if you want decent accommodation, ive had to sleep on the beach before! What is your budget roughly for hotels?

3isaMagicNumber you are absolutely right. I was also there at last to last meet and I also did not get the accommodation as I was not aware of the bookings in advance. So I would also like to suggest you Kellyh_27 to get it booked before your visit.

We have only got 3 nights at most available to go Full moon, will we be able to get accomodation for this short time? I have been looking at places on Ban Thai and Ban Khai so they are not right on Haad Rin as I heard that some places can get broken into if too close. Are there any suggestions for these?

In terms of budget, there are three of us and we have accounted for £100 each for 3 nights ish?

£100 each for 3 nights!! WOW thats a lot. I would suggest staying in a nice room at Palita Lodge. Not sure if you need more than three nights though. The owner is called Sue, give her an email. I would deffinatley recommend staying in Haad Rin and for that much money it will be easy. About the breaking in, ive never heard it in all my times there so im sure its very rare

Book 4 weeks in ahead if you want to have a cheap and nice accomodation, otherwise be ready to sleep on the beach :P;)

Google Coco Garden Resort and read reviews and see what you think. Definately have your accom. booked in advance.
