Can one be madly and smartly in love at the same time...?

If possible, why so many ppls comment "love is blind" ? Because u cant see the darkness part?

Madly = insanely? Smartly = intellectually?

Rational says no, but I'm madly (insanely) and smartly (intellectually) in love with my husband and vise versa - so he said when posed with the above question, finishing with "Was there any doubt?". (No, just a question.)

Yeah, I have to agree that one can ironically be both. I don't want to lose the mad part for the sane part - I feel more like I've learned what I want and what I don't, and when I found the perfect mix for me I just abandon myself to it.

Kind of like I've built my solid foundation on experience and rationality, so now I'm going wild with the house.

Wasn't it Socrates that first touched on this subject in "The Phaedrus of Plato"?

"Falling" in love instils you with a sense of helplessness. Crazy & wonderful in the short term.

If it's going to last longer, then Wocca prefers "Standing" in love. Both having their feet firmly on the ground, mutual understanding & trust, agreeing to disagree when necessary, but most importantly ... "standing" together in times of crisis

I like that Wocca.
