Puppy love: once ; Love-love: once.....so I guess that would be twice

Right now I'm finding myself in "crush" (tee hee) with someone, but he's a tad older than me (okay, more than a tad) and I have no idea if he feels the same. Plus we haven't known each other for long...I guess I'll have to wait and see how this one will play out! (Although thinking about it makes me more depressed than anything...lol, think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts...)

I guess 3 Times, while it lasted anyway Love doesn't have to be forever, you just have to enjoy it while its there, if its just passing through there'll be another one along soon

But the timing was wrong and there was a huge age and geographical gap that would have been difficult to overcome.

I can't comment on bad timing, but I can tell you that age difference + georgraphical distance can still be overcome. I suppose it depends on what your priorities are and how much you're willing to put into the whole thing (cause it ain't easy), but from personal experience we kinda said "what the hell - if we don't try it, we'll never know" and it's worked out better yet differently that we'd thought. I wouldn't change it - it's worth every effort.

It was bad timing because he's off traveling for the next year or so. It's also hard to imagine bridging the age 9-year age gap, even though he was the most mature and sensitive 22 year-old I've ever met.

LOL!

I don't know why but I tend to be very attracted to guys in their early twenties. It seems as if my taste in men hasn't changed since my teenage years, although back then boys in their early twenties were "older men" haha! My friends think that it's because I have a subconcious fear of committement, because my attraction to these boys are usually purely physical (hard to mentally connect with someone less mature and still lacking in life experience). It's the first time that I'm physically AND mentally attracted to a boy-toy. It's been 3 weeks since we parted ways and I still can't stop thinking about him... The timing was definitely off though.
