Hello everybody.

I am travelling to Adelaide very soon, and I would appreciate some help with finding cheap hotels/hostals. I do want a single room (as in no dorm...). The price should be ok too. Too much to ask for? What price range can I expect if I want to stay in yhe central part of town?
Happy to receive your input(s),

Hi Joachim,

Single rooms are probably the toughest to get a good deal on in my experience. You often end up in a double room since hotels tend not to have too many single rooms and you'll pay about the same as for the double room (if not the same).

A hostel is the cheapest, but then you'd be looking at a dorm room.

Downtown Adelaide, I think you'll be able to get a room for around 70 AUD roughly if you want your own private room. Check out the accommodation link at the top of the page as it will give you a better view of all the different options that are available and how big the difference in price can be!

Hey,

I live in Adelaide, and i have heard good things about a hostel down in Glenelg (probably Adelaide's busiest beach). I work across the road from it and always looks busy. It is called the Glenelg Beach Hostel and costs about $30 AUD per night. However, i think that it is all dorms, but it is a great location.

It is just off of Jetty Road, which is always busy when the weather is warm, and has its own bar etc...

Hope this helps.
