Hi, I am planning a trip to America for may 2013 with my partner (20), my sister (15) and myself (19) and we will be traveling from Sydney Australia and because of our ages we will not be driving which will make things difficult so we have decided to base ourselves around the things we want to do and use public transport.
We are not into museums or history, we would like to see and do the 'typical' tourist attractions, theme parks, shopping and just relaxing in places we've never been too- I know I may have put a couple extra days in places that aren't necessary but I'm thinking of the days we arrive and have to leave we will lose time and also I don't want to be in a rush and have to do things EVERY DAY- really just want to take our time to enjoy everything.

I've been reading ALOT about peoples opinions on L.A being a 'hole' - I have always wanted to go there... I guess for each person it's different?

What do you think? Am I missing anything ?  I'm looking for different opinions and thoughts to help with my itinerary!!
