Hey Guys,

I was looking into the Stray bus tours and was wondering if anybody on this has been on any of the tours. Would ye recommend them as a good way to see the country? Any opinions in general would be great!!

I travelled with Stray for 4 weeks all over the South Island and it was great. It's a really convenient and fun way to see the country and is sociable without being a party bus. Also have a look at Magic bus who provide a similar service; I've also travelled with them and would recommend them.

Well Stray bus is the best bet to go with as they're not the party bus and has a good mix of young and old travellers. If you ever consider to get Stray bus pass, do use or quote Stray Mate Code KL3909 and you'll get instant $25-50 off (for passes > NZD400). Cheers!

I'm a Kiwi myself so haven't used the Stray bus, but I pass it's pick-up point here in my city on the way to work every weekday - it seems super popular and theres always quite a mix of ages/cultures etc that seem to be boarding :)
