Travel Forums System Talk edit problem (probably my own settings)

I have a problem, which probably has to do with my own settings but I just can't find the answer anywhere. So a question for the more technical advanced. Please help me !!!

When I make an edit in the guide, and as well when adding a link to a post, or a quote. It always ends up on the first line of the part I am editing. Which in most cases is not at all where I want it to be. Also when I want to hightlight a piece, by using the bold or italic, I just end up with the coding for this at the beginning of the section. I have no idea where this is going wrong, but it is frustrating especially on the guide, where we use a lot of links, and aswell photos. (and no it's not just on TP.)

I am on Windows 7 and IE9 at the moment.

Please help me !!!

P.S. Smilies are no problem here ...

Hmm, sounds like an IE9 problem to me. I'll have to test this in the office where I have a PC to look at it :)

If I'm understanding correctly, you're hitting the "B" button, etc at the top and instead of putting it where your cursor is, it puts the code at the top?

yes exactly.

I select the text, press bold, and I places just the coding [b][/.b] in front of all the lines in the section.

so like this

[b][/.b] I select the text, press bold, and I places just the coding in front of all the lines in the section.

Obviously the . is wrong but, if I remove it you can't see it :)

Just got around to looking at this properly. Tried on IE9 here and the problem didn't happen Was expecting a browser related bug, but it doesn't appear to be that simple.

I wonder, do you have any extensions installed with IE9? Maybe something is getting in the way.
