am trying to buy a night train from Krakow to Prague. It's quite expensive to buy it online as it charges the delivery. My questions are :
1. Can I purchase online and collect it from the train station?
2. Can I purchase it directly from the station?
3. Besides train, what other transportation to get to Prague.
Your help is needed.
I think you don't need to by it online. In Poland you can buy a ticket on the station before departure. You don't need to buy it in advance. Or you can buy it when you are in Krakow.Do you want to go by this train: http://rozklad-pkp.pl/traininfo.php/pn/32427/182181/92630/35506/4095/?q=pl/node/146&ld=pkp&seqnr=6&ident=kt.0120329.1328568599& ???
If yes "POS" and "tylko druga klasa" means that it is an ordinary train with only 2nd class. There are also sleepers and you should make a reservation only if you want to have a place to sleep. Otherwise it is not necessary and you can buy a ticket just before departure because reservation is not possible in "POS" and in 2nd class. And "proszę rezerwować (fakultatywne=optional) " means that reservation is not nesessary.
If you want to go by coach you can check here: http://www.almabus.pl/intro-en.html
I hope it explained everything:-)
