Quoting Metaphor

Dudes, Being a Kiwi, that's lived in OZ, England France Germany and now Switzerland, I'd say the French are the worst. Pack of moaning Wankers.

That's rather funny and harsh at the same time! Oh my i've had enough of my own people-they all moan, moan, moan! god, come on-there's more to life-it's so depressing!

Being Canadian, I'd have to say Aussie's, Kiwi's and South African's are the one's I make friends with best. Jamaicans are also at the top of my list. South African's are hilarious...such a riot to drink with. Have you ever sat down at a table with a South African, 2 Canadians, and a Brit?!!? That only spells one word: trouble!!

And here I was thinking the French and my fellow Quebecers were a lovely, cultured, helpful, and fun lot.

It reminds me of that story about the two travellers who meet a native outside a new city, and ask what the people there are like. The native asks them "What are people like where you come from?"

The first traveller responds, "Mean and nasty and rude". To which the native replies, "You will find people here the same."

The second traveller answers "Where I come from, the people are kind and generous and helpful." To which the native replies "You will find people here the same."

Jamaican people are so incredibly friendly, as are most from the Caribbean. I'm not really taken with Canadians, atleast the ones I met in Montreal. Some of the people I met in London were also pretty cool too.

I'm not seeing a lot of love for Americans here.....Is this because we're not in some of the locations you guys have been or just that everyone dislikes us? Am I gonna be the loser with no friends this summer in Europe?? Man, I'm worried now lol

don't worry - it's all about personality and not much to do with your origin

i think we indians make good friends, there is a lot of sincerity and that always welcome attitude.... which i find missing in lot of the nationalities ...without naming and hurting others sentiments. one has to experience the indian hospitality and feel the warmth of the indian friendship.then i have some fantastic friends in the spainish, the germans, the canadians.the americans , the french ,the mexicans..

Nice one there Metaphor. For someone who has (supposedly) lived in five or so different countries, your worldliness is amazing.
