Could be hard to get a Job like that. You could try to get a work visa and list your self at a tep agency. If you trying to go under the law Bars would be your best bet, but there hard to get becouse there is good money doing that work. Maybe a nanny?

good luck

hey, thanks for replying to my ad....bars may certainly be worth a you know what area has the most bars, as we are going to look for somewhere close to stay in the area that we may get a job in to save getting a car?

The idea of LA is kinda wrong. The real LA city is a large area but LA county is huge. Where in "LA" are you loking to stay?

Hermosa Beach is a City 5 miles south of LAX airport and there are lots of bars in to two block area. there is also a hostel, is it a good one i dont know? The hosel is about 50 yards from the beach and is above a bar called the beach club.

i hope this helps, if you write back include what your looking for. Like hollywood sunset strip area or downtown whatever.

Hi KC,

I recently stayed at the Orbit hostel in West Hollywood on Melrose Avenue(which has lots of restaurant/bars). Its was fairly cheap and alot of fun - great people and a very organised clean place. Its about a 10-15 brisk walk to Hollywood Boulevard or a quick bus journey. I found LA wasnt the easiest place to get around and had to hire a car as the place is so huge. Otherwise i would suggest staying somewhere closer to the beaches and looking for work at one of the beachside cafes/bars. Good luck anyway... make sure you check out the Six Flags theme park whilst you are there if you like that kind of thing - beats chessington anyday!
If you have anyother questions feel free to ask... LA was a bit daunting at first but turned out to be a lot of fun and an experience to say the least!
