Traveling to Austrlia late 2012 early 2013. Anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I'm travelling NZ (Auckland to Christchurch) from Nov 30th to Jan 9th with a Stray bus and then Oz (Sydney to Cairns) with a greyhound bus pass from Jan 9 to Feb 18.

First time travelling and doing it alone. Leave for SE Asia in 2 weeks - SCARED isn't even the word. Any advice, calming words, wisdom anyone can share? lol or Facebook love so we can share each other's blogs/advice?

what are ur plans i am going over to aus on a working holiday visa are u going to work out there etc

Hi guys!

My friend and I (22, f, UK) are travelling to Oz, NZ and Fiji in 2 months time. We're stopping off in India and Singapore before then, but travelling Cairns-Sydney for 3 weeks with greyhound bus pass arriving 14.11 and going Auckland to Christchurch for 2 weeks beginning in December with Magic Bus.

We'd love to meet up with some of you on the post on the way if we'll be in the same place at the same time! We've booked most of the hostels in Oz because of Schoolies week but our NZ plans are completely open atm. All we need to do is get to Christchurch in time for our flight in the third week of December!
