Traveling to Austrlia late 2012 early 2013. Anyone else?

Im planning on travelling to Oz at some point either late this year or early next year! In the same boat aswell travelling alone and abit scared haha! Not really sure where to start etc?

Hey, Im Stacey, Im 22 and looking to travel Australia for around 3 months. The hottest months are Nov-Feb so Im looking to fly out in December 2012. Ive also been looking at 'UltimateOz' and 'OzIntro' tour packages to start my journey - it looks amazing, it covers so many sites and looks great fun and also a chance to meet other people travelling at the same time too! Is anyone looking for a travel buddy to Oz for around this time?

Hello! I haven’t contributed to this thread in a while, sorry about that! As it stands, I’m still booked to go in October, getting very excited! Flying into Melbourne for a month, then onto Sydney for Christmas & NY period. Not sure on the amount I’ll have in total but I have friends who have done this and gone with USD 750.00 and is still there after 3 years – sounds good to me!

I plan on going oz early November on a WHV aswell, 2 friends of mine are going out in september first so plan on meeting up with them and anyone else, we plan on being in sydney for NYE but not too sure after that!!

Sorry for the delay been a bit mad...but exciting sorting my visa and pricing up flights. Booking my flight on friday for November. Gonna go to Perth first then be in Sydney for Xmas/NY too :-) maybe we can meet up? I haven't got hostel booked for arrival yet didn't think I'd need to do that for a while but don't know :-/ was only gonna book my first hostel then try and wing it when I'm there. yeh looks like most people do the east first there seems to be a lot more there anyways!
