I definately would say money has nothing to do with any of it.. The thing that makes me truely happy is that my boyfriend is in love with me, that he makes me feel like nobody else could ever make me feel. If we lived in a box on the street I wouldn't care, as long as I had him. Especially as right now we are 5 thousand miles away!

I will admit though that money is useful, but I have never ever thought to get it from someone else. I like independence, if I ever want money, I'll make it myself. I don't believe in leeching off other people, its low and many other things that my brain can't think of right now at this particularly late hour in which I should be fast asleep in bed.

Wocca, they're never going to want what you want, in the quantities that you want it!

I can't help but think that a lot of women over-rate themselves.

In Sydney, it seems that every Jane Average with a widening bottom and a middle management job thinks she is a cast member of Sex In The City. They think they are gorgeous, witty, clever, and sexy, when the reality is that they are a dime a dozen.

Women whose abilities, brains and looks would normally lead them to ending up with a Martin Clunes or a Garry McDonald all think they are entitled to a Brad Pitt or a Colin Farrell.

but then there are also millions of average men who think they deserve to be only with models who own brewerys.....

Most women I know underrate themselves James - maybe it's just Irish women or something. A lot of girls that I know are constantly knocking themselves, be it their personality or their figure or their ability to compete in the workplace.

I mean I get so fed up with diets being almost the sole topic of conversation among the women I meet these days. I'm sick of hearing "Oh god, if I could just lose a few pounds I'd be so much more confident", blah blah blah. An acquaintance of mine went to join Weightwatchers this week and was refused membership because she was too thin. She was devastated! It's ridiculous.

I wish I knew some of these women that you speak of James. They'd be a breath of fresh air around here ....for a while anyway

i think some people will never be happy because they are striving for an ideal that doesn't exist, what a waste of time !

i have to agree, most women i know are trying to lose weight and its ridiculous, some of them are tiny but because they don't have bones sticking out they wouldn't believe you

I find a lot of women to be at the two ends of the spectrum. They are either wannabe stars of Sex and The City or they are neurotic shopaholics with nothing to show for 10 years in the workforce apart from a nice wardrobe and a large credit card debt.
