Hello all!
As a turkish citizen and also a full time student in one of the German Universities, I have overstayed in Germany for 25 days.
I have a special passaport(green one) and my normal allowed stayin time is 90 days in 180 days. but I stayed 115 days.
Normally, last year,I had a residence permit, but it ended up at the beginning of this semester and I did not applied for the new one since my Semester was on for only 2,5 Months.
I was thinking, my period resets itself everytime I enter Turkey and fly back to Germany again and I was travelling back and fort 3 times during my stay. But apparently it is not.
They noticed it in Passaport Control at the airport, did some papers about it and then I left Germany.
There is no unusual stamp in my Passaport too.(Just the one showing I left the country on that particular day)
What will be the consequences, do you think? My whole education life is depend on that, and i am too stressed right now because of the possibility that I looked up from internet i might be banned from reentry of all Schengen zone within 3-5 years.
The police officer(3 silver stars) told and adviced me to go to German embassy and get a proper visa when i will be returning for summer semester and apply for residence permit as a student. But I can not be so sure whether or not they will give me visa or, should I mention that incident during my visa conversation.
Please help guys, thank you very much.
