floripa in santa catarina

i wonder if ingleses is the best beach and party place in the island of sta catarina or if lagoa da conceicao is better? i ve been recommended to stay at either of these and don t know which one to choose!!!

would you recommend another one?? i d like to go where there are many people and there s nightlife but at a walking distance since i m not going to rent a car.

also, is anybody going there at the end of january??

i m thinking of doing so on my own and would like to meet some people to have more fun!!

I guess as you are probably young (and do not want to spend a fortune in accomodation) you could stay at the youth hostels in Florianopolis:

There sure you will find a lot of other young people you could chat with, and probably some of them does also have a car to know the island better!
