A solitary man walks through a field of beautiful and fragrant flowers. As he passes, hundreds of butterflies rise from the blossoms on which they were perched. Upon reaching the edge of the field, he pauses for just a moment. Turning back slowly, he finds only barren ground, a single butterfly and the perfume washing away on the breeze. The man smiles and begins his journey again.

Is this an indirect reference to taking the time to smell the roses (real or imagined)?

No, but that works too! It was something a long ago friend said to me. I could either see the beauty, or the lack of it, as I jouneyed through life. The choice was mine. I've just never forgotten it.

Wocca, how is it that you are at a computer all the time. If you are still in Thailand, it is 1:20 am!! (My husband just called me from there, he is leaving now). Do you have a blackberry or a lap top with you at all times?

Isnt it funny how there are certain things people tell you that you NEVER forget? I have one of those too and I told this person one day how much I always remembered it but he did recall the phrase. It is funny how certain things you might say casually to someone can last a lifetime in someone else's mind.

Does he ?

Wocca is back in China now. The time there is one hour ahead of Thailand, so 1.20am in Thailand is 2.20am in China.

Josette, Pardus, Samsara & Tway can vouch for Wocca just being in the chat room with them.
