Wait wait, stop the music. I forgot something...I would like to thank Gretchen (isadora) for pushing to become the best travel helper I can be. I never thought South Florida can be as interesting as it is until I had to put it into writing. Thanks!

WOW! Great acceptance speech - and you stayed within the allotted time frame too.

A nomination and a thank you all in one day... I am truly overwhelmed and almost speechless. (Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen!) Personally, I would like to say thank you to all the TP participants that make my day a bit more interesting and thought-provoking. Stand up and give yourselves a round of applause!

Anne, too bad you aren't interested in backpacking around Ilinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas or the midwest in general. I could fill you full of very interesting information. Ah, screw it - Florida is more fun!!!

I would also like to thank the Academy for this very surprsing nomination. I am speechless, I had nothing prepared for this. I would also like to thank my coffee maker at home, my three bottles of Mountain Dew with 100% caffeine in them, by most of all TP for all of their support. Lastly, thank you Wocca for the endless threads that drive me to come home and turn on my computer every night to become some day the Travel Guru everyone can be proud of. I will continue to work hard for it, I promise. (Applause).

You're super-cute, Anne

Wocca...communicating to Wocca...earth to Wocca...slow down, i'm fliting from one page to another to another all over the place and yet you seem to be replying every 2 minutes-i should conduct an experiment and come up with the average...are you at home i presume!

There is no earth. There is no Wocca. Is that you, James ? Just sometimes long replies to Personal Messages. This is where photo's are much better. I hear you samsara2.

Shucks Now I am blushing.

Hey, nothing wrong with backpacking around the US, I will get around to that down the road, I just have to get Asia, Africa, and Australia out of the way. It is like one of those things you have so close you figure, heck I can do it whenever you know. Almost like when I lived in New York...why visit the Statute of Liberty? But I will do the Midwest someday...and you will have to be my travel helper :)

Good idea! I was thinking about the same thing yesterday: Wocca asks a lot of questions about what we think, what we do, where we go and all. BUT WHO IS WOCCA?

I see, you're starting with the continents that begin with "A". Guess it's going to take awhile before you get to North America. (as you said - you reside here.) You haven't lived until you've seen Paul Bunyan Land!
