I'd like to travel overland around Southern and Eastern Africa from May - Nov. I'm flexible on the timing though.
Naturally Asia is super popular as it's cheap and gorgeous. But, if you wanna get off the backpacker circuit and see something a little different, I think this is a good trip. Not keen to travel with any tour. This is a budget trip: hostels, street food, staying with locals, self-drive, public transport, hitch, camp, budget safari etc...
I'm into hiking, live music, cultural activities, cold beer at warm outdoors bars, diving, occasional day at the beach (eastern Africa has gorgeous beaches).
I'm really easygoing and this is part of a larger RTW for me. I'm from the States, female.
As long as you have a positive attitude and are ready for an adventure, I'd love the company.
I like your ideas! Sounds great. Ive traveled quit abit around the world, but never to Africa.

Hi JS, I think it's gonna be an awesome trip.
I'm headed to Africa the last week of May. So, I'll still be around in June. Just getting started really. Meeting Scott there.
PM me for more info. Would be great to meet up.
Just an update. I postponed my trip to late June. Not sure how long I'll be in Africa overall. At minimum, 3 months.
I am Edward from Arusha Tanzania, A driver tour guide as long as tour planner.
I would like to get you as my friend and travel with you as partner in Tanzania
