Hi Evereyone,

I have already planned my travel trip for 2012 but I'm looking for some insparation for my 2013 plans. I have 3 weeks set aside to tarvel somwhere next year and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas about what I could see and do over a three week period. I've already travelled in Australia and South Esat Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos) but wouldn't be against the idea of returning there, I'm due to visit Peru for two weeks in September 2012 and recently been on a trip to Iceland therefore you can see there is diversity to the places I visit and therefore I am open to any suggestions.

I know this is quite a generic post but I'm just interested in seeing what other have done over a three week period and whether it could be something that may interest myself.

Many Thanks

How about Europe? Many go to distant places and forget about nearby ones.

Maybe Italy; with Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Pisa, Perugia, Sienna, Milan, Venice, etc.

Ideally not when the kids are on holiday.

Thanks for the suggestion Cyberia, Eastern Europ is one though that I have had, i've already been to some of the places that you've suggested but Italy is an interesting destination and I wouldn't be against the idea od going abck as i've not visitied Perugia, Sienna or Milan. How did you travel around Italy, train?

Morocco is a really nice country to visit, I went for 10 days and loved it, wish I could have been there longer. Beautiful beaches, good surf, the Sahara, and quite cheap.

In three weeks you could travel across Russia on the Trans-Siberian train. Be sure to stop for a few days at Lake Baikal- it's amazing. You'd have time to spend several days in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Beijing (if you ended there).
