Hi I need help fast,

si I want to get from Bangkok to Koh Tao anytime between Saturday (march 31st) and Sunday (april 1st). All the trains are saying that there full up and I definately don't want to take a bus as I've heard nothing but bad stories about them.

So I was wondering if anyone had suggestions? I've checked up Bangkok Airways and found a flight which Leaves at 6am arriving in Ko Samui at 07:05. I then thought we could get a ferry to Koh Tao. The flights costs €205 (roughly 8352 TBH) for 2 people.

Should I just book this or has anyone any suggestions?? Please any specific help would really guide us.

Buses aren't too bad. I've taken the trip to southern island (including Koh Tao) about 20 times, and I've never had a problem. Don't expect the best night's sleep, and don't expect to actually arrive at the time they advertise, but I've never had a bad experience on a Kao San Road bus. Watch your belongings, I've heard of stories of people going through bags at night.

I prefer to take a bus if you have time. don't worry , not all bus drivers are bad ^^

but it will take 7 hours from Bkk to Chumphon,
and then 2 hours from Chumphon to Koh Tao (by boat.)

Have a good trip.

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please. ]

hey, ive just arrived in Chumphon from Bangkok after a rather nice train ride in 2nd class, i will get a ferry from here to one of the islands tomorow. online it stated all trains were fully booked but that is because the online booking agents only have a certain amount of allications. just turn up at the train station and you will defo get a seat/bed. personally i wouldnt bother with a flight there are about 4 trains a day. good luck :)
