Hi Gooner7

You 850 pounds becomes around Rs 70,000 in India.

If we assume Rs 1,000 for a night stay in India then it will become around Rs 30,000 for total accomodation for one month.

If we assume Rs 1,500(for good quality and services) on an average for all meals and breakfast per day for two persons then it will become around Rs 45,000.

And now you can consider other expenses like flights, other mode of transport, sight seeing entry tickets, tips, shopping, or any other expenses. According to me as per my assumptions this may go up to around Rs 60,000.

Now if you want services of guides then that will be extra cost. say Rs 30,000

Now you can sum all this up.

Be aware of the cheaters who are always looking to fleece and cheat the foreign tourists, be it a taxi driver, hotels, restaurants, guide, transport companies, etc. So be aware about all this aspect.

I will also advise you to consult a good tour providers in India and then put your plan about that is 30 days; and the destinations which you want to visit, and what kind of rooms - luxury or non luxury; ac or non ac, 5 star or 2 star, or 1 star or ordinary rooms, food quality, etc. And then ask that company how much they would charge for all these things( including all flights, all accomadations, all types of transport including driver labour, all breakfast, lunch and dinner, sight seeing tickets, services of guide during the whole stay or whenever required, and all other things.

As I hope, If they charge upto Rs 1,25,000 then it is a good deal [ but you would not get much luxury in this budget; but you would enjoy all the tourist destinations what you want to visit, without any problem like cheating, fleecing, crime, thugging, mugging, etc

If you want any other guidance or advice then message me.
I am also working in a travel and tour providing company in India.

Thanks and HAPPY JOURNEY.. ;)
