This thread is marked as being about Asia

Hi Everyone,

Im travelling all of Asia in the next few months and If I like where I am I would like to stay there for maybe a month or 2 as I have no time restrictions and enough money saved up.

Do I need visas for each country in Asia, how do I get these, the cost? and how long do they last...

Thanks guys

If your citizenship really is afghan then it changes things vs if it's British. Typically in most se Asian countries you get a visa on arrival, but for India for example you need to apply in advance. Best you actually check embassies for the countries you are going to, or at very least list countries here...

Thanks for the reply Sam, I am British and i'm looking at travelling,

These are what i've got in mind at the moment but I would also love to see some of the not so popular places and I know things will obviously change when im out there.

I can't help but wonder: why did you separate Bali from Indonesia?
Bali is an island within a country of Indonesia.
Once you get a visa on arrival to Indonesia, you're free to visit Bali anytime within 30 days.

This is the general requirement to get an Indonesian visa on arrival for the British Citizen;
The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the date of entry.
Round-trip airplane ticket.
- Up to 7 (seven) days: US$ 10
- Up to 30 (thirty) days: US$ 25.

Enjoy Indonesia! We have not just Bali for your amazing time :)

Thanks Sesall

Do you know anything else about Indonesia? Where to stay, places to visita and things to see? I hear its a beautiful place with lots to do.

The only places i've really seen which I would love to do are Bali and the Komodo Islands.

Sure, please let me know anything you want to know.

Indonesia is a wonderful country, huge one, so you need to carefully decide which island you wanna visit.

Bali and Komodo islands are not very far from each other. You may travel overland if you don't mind a bit of 'rough' time on the road. :)

Check out the travel guide. Under each country article, look under the Red Tape section for visa information.
