Hello all!
I am a 21yr old kitesurfing instructor from Melbourne, Australia. As it is approach winter, and the sun is slowly diminishing, I have decided to leave it behind for a few weeks.
I am wanting to explore Sri Lanka by motorcycle for roughly 3 weeks from around 15th may - 5th june.
Anyone with an open mind and adventurous attitude who may happen to be in the area during this time let me know.

listed, in 'pencil' are just a few things i am looking to tick off my list:

Munneswaram Hindu temple
Pinnawela Elephant Orpanage
Kandy Tooth Temple
Kandyan Dance Performance
Knuckles Range Mountains
Ramboda Falls
Istripura Caves
Hakgala Botanical Gardens
Hatton Tea Area
Laxapana Falls
Kitulgala Rafting

And of course a bit of kitesurfing may be on the cards (and maybe a lesson or two for those not yet addicted to the sport)..

Hi there!

I returned from Sri Lanka few months ago.
I wanna notice that traffic in Sri Lanka is the most frightening of all the world roads that I have ever travelled (including rural Guatemala and undeveloped Egypt). I'm a bike-freak and quite indifferent about own safety. But, honestly ... man, in Sri Lanka roads I only wanted to close the eyes and do not see it. I say you, it was f.. scare - they drive unpredictable. Be careful, ah? You are young and better will return home in one piece.

P.S. Oh, yeah, didn't mean to scare you out, there are part of roads like this, not all of them.
