i can tell you my worst euro experience:

Reims France 2000

my bro and i drinking a beer in a french bar, they were closing, telling us all to leave, 1 guy took all our beers and poored them out, my bro got pissed and got into an argument with the bartender, i tried to break them up and calm them both down, before ya know it seconds later some asshole sprays a can of shit into our eyes (mace)

them fuckers gave me 1 sec to try to calm my bro down before macing us, that is total bullshit in my honest opinion

BUT

that is only 1 bad experience, there are too many great european experiences to list here, i LOVE europe!

Amsterdam is the place for craziness. Last time i was there with a friend who has to strip every time Tom Jones records play. This particular incident i ended up holding all his clothes (i think the bar was called The Jolly Sailor) while he was swinging round naked on the ceiling fan!! To my horror i got robbed (although i put up no resistance!!!)of some of his clothing by some other friends, which was then thrown in the canal outside. My friend eventually finished his 'routine' and came back to find me holding a shoe, a pair of boxers and a t-shirt!!!!

Best:
1) Walking through a town square in Alkmaar, NL with my rucksack on my back, I was called across the square to a bunch of locals enjoying some beers in the spring sun. They asked where I was from, offered me a beer, talked my @r$e off for a couple of hours, bought me some chips (fries) and really made me feel a welcome tourist.
2) Hooking up with a bunch of Americans (I am a Brit and had not been to the US yet) in Warsaw and following them all the way to Tallinn, sharing new experiences and knowledge on a tricky trip through the Baltics.
3) Eindhoven night life. Nuff said!

Worst:
1) Having a bunch of kids pickpocket me and steal my camera near the water castle at Trakai, near Vilnius, Lithuania. The little runts were selling souvenirs. Most expensive postcard I ever bought, that.

I have a couple bests, heres one:
Arriving in berlin from a week in amsterdam and not remembering most of the week, luckily I kept a Journal. Actually I dont ever remember leaving Amsterdam, I just remember walking to the train station and my next memory is coming out of a U-Bahn and walking up some stairs. Anyway, Later that night it was drunken Karoakee at the hostel I stayed at, which led us to a local club full of Beautiful German Women and their beautiful broken english. That night allowed me to see the suburbs on the outskirts of Berlin as I got lost leaving some beautiful girls house. When I got back to the Hostel, one of my roommates managed to lock himself in the fire-escape and I had to let him out. It was one of the best 24 hours of my life

MY worst experience would have to be my very first train ride from Paris to Barcelona...Firstly I got ripped off by the guy who sold me the ticket. Anyway, I was in a sleeper car with a French Businessman "very sketchy guy, bad suit, bad lines etc..) and a man from Morroco who had red stains on his hands. When the Morrocan man left to use the WC the French guy told me not to trust that guy and he might try to slit our throats when we sleep, we have to sleep in shifts to watch each others backs and stuff. Wow, he didnt have to worry cause I was not going to sleep at all after hearing this. Around 1:00 am the lights were turned off and the Guy told me I could sleep first, as he had some reading to do. I somehow dozed off but was awoken buy a French Solider who was yelling and pointing an assault rifle inches from my forehead. The train was stopped for an hour as the soliders searched every cabin and everyones stuff. (This train ride was the day after there was a bomb discovered on a track from France to Switzerland). Well, I was wide awake for the next 5 hours and had trouble sleeping that night as well....I will never forget that train ride!! Looking back now, its kind of a funny story

One time in France (Toulon i think)my friend and i were a bit peckish after getting drunk because we had just beaten France at Rugby. There was a mobile food wagon, locked up, nobody inside but with the front shutter up and everything still on. Nobody was around so i gave my friend a bunk up and he started flipping some burgers for us. To our horror a queue started to form before he finished and he had to take the orders and do them because we were worried someone might call the police. Luckily after the initial rush there were no more customers and we staggered off with our burgers.

craziest hostel i've been to:
in sixmilebridge, ireland, close to the shannon airport.
theres a hostel called the Jamaica Inn, and it has palm trees and the walls are painted neon orange, yellow, lime green and other tropical colours.
The best part about it: the dogs. The owners of the hostel have two dogs, one named Bob and the other named Marley!!
