Problems uploading photos - incorrect file format

Travel Forums System Talk Problems uploading photos - incorrect file format

I am suddenly unable to upload photos. Getting error message 'image is not in valid file format'.

Why is this? I am using the same camera and files as photos I have previosuly uploaded (in JPEG).

Anyone have any ideas?

Definitely a problem on the Travellerspoint side. I have resized and reconverted to all potential photo file formats. It rejects everything.
I sent a message to Travellerspoint. No response as yet.

I have been the same problem as well for about 2/3 days now. I think is a website problem, wanted to send a message to travellerspoint but don't know where to find their email address.
Brichkline, how did you send it to them?

Lower-left of screen. "Contact"

I've managed to get around this by installing the Java plugin and uploading that way. I was previously using the manual file uploader. Once I had installed the plugin and used the other method of uploading, it worked just fine.

I have the same problem. I can not upload photos anymore: "'image is not in valid file format", is the message I get.

Are you all using the single file uploaded or the multi-file uploader? I've passed this on to the developer for this, so should be fixed shortly... Apologies!

Hey all, the software responsible for resizing photos had crashed. I've just restarted it and it should work again now. Took me a while to get access to restart because I'm travelling myself at the moment. Apologies for that!
