I just had a new variation of the error that sometimes comes up when posting in the forums (well, one I haven't seen before anyway).
I previewed the post, then clicked submit and the following error appeared in a red box "There was a problem posting your entry. Below is a copy of the attempted post. Please try again and let us know if the problem persists" followed by the post I made. This time however, the post did appear in the thread even though the error also appeared.

The same thing just happened to me in the Europe forum; my reply was also posted fine in spite of the error.
Yep, I've had this too... I haven't been able to to figure out at all what might be causing it though. It seems to come and go, and not at all be based on anything the user is doing. I suspect it has something to do with a database bit function that should run, but doesn't. I think there's a function that runs at the same time as a post is made to count the total entries posted by that user. It might be that which is giving the error, though the post is still made.
Interestingly, I also have the opposite sometimes. Visit a thread and it shows the green success message that my post has been posted (even though I haven't done anything on the page...).
Just thought I'd let you know that this error message just appeared again, but again my entry had actually posted fine.
