OVERLAND SOUTH AMERICA TRAVEL EXCHANGE PLACE! -- everyone traveling overland can exchange information on their travels (brief messages only) here and others can answer back... this is not for the "delux hotel travelers, or cruise ship passengers" .. more for travelers living the experiences!

RVing?, Caravaning?, Traveling Overland in own vehicle? - If anyone needs information or advice on this travel let me know, I have traveled camping from Alaska to Argentina and Brasil, over 15 times (15 trips), and know people throughout the Pan American Highway Region and what you may need for camping and unexpected situations.

The most you will encounter is excitement and fun!! buy who knows? if you have a unusual situation, let me know and there is a good chance I can give you information, or try to find out for you!!! Happy Travels.

ps: I am departing from US/Mex border in early August heading for the tip of Argentina again!!!!

Be sure you vehicle is in best of condition before you go, and you have the spare parts that are hard to find with you. The best way to have the parts shipped to the Latin countries is by DHL, and they are also connected with the northamerican FEDEX. I had parts shipping into Arica, Chile, weighing under 1 pound, they arrived in 5 days and at a cost of $120 USD.
