hey!! I would rather say this is one of the best time to come to india. it's not that hot as it is in summers, so you can always go to places like jodhpur, jaisalmer, jaipur in rajasthan which u would lime to avoid in summers due to extreme temperatures then.

also you can go visit places like kerala, karnataka, goa pune which are simply beautiful at this time of the year. it is not like its always raining there but yes the weather is very pleasant and it rains frequently. but trust me, u will love it.

i had a trip to kerala last year at the same time and i was amazed by the flaura and fauna of the place. it is at the peak of its beauty at this time.

also if you are travelling to kerala make sure u do not stay in a hotel but on a house boat (locally known as allepey).
hope u have a great yatra ahead. :)

Hi James,

I suggest you to go chennai in tamil nadu state. There is no much rain. This would be better journey for you.

Thanks,

Hi

June to Sept. is generally monsoon season all over India. It rains very heavily in places like Kerala. Karnataka is a better bet - rains occur in spells. Gokarna, Karwar are great beaches.
There are great sightseeing spots around Bangalore like ancient temple of Belur / Halebid and trekking in western ghats.

You can plan accommodation in -snip- and save money.

Cheers

Ajay

Its not a very straight question to answer , as India is like a small continent in itself almost all weathers can been round the year depending upon which part you are in .
For example it would be rainy in Goa, Maharashtra , Kerala , Uttaranchal and some north eastern states but it would be medium rains in down south and way up like Leh. and almost no to very less rains in Rajesthan,Thamilnadu
. So i won't be worrying about rains much if i know where to go. That depends upon what you want to do.
In case you want to enjoy party kind of fun head to goa, some peace with beach you can go Pondicherry and Kurg. You want majestic mountains and Himalayan high lands head to Leh.
India is an incredible place a country of countries , rich heritage and diversity so just come and explore!
