I have a Sealife ReefMaster DC250. It takes great pix down to ~40 ft, using the internal flash. We're thinking of purchasing the external flash for deeper dives and those with less visibility, but are curious if it is worth the expense. Anyone have any experience with this camera and the EF?

Oh man, I am so jealous right now... underwater photography is something I still want to get in to!

Don't be jealous Sam!!!

I like this one because it came with a waterproof housing. I can use it for both land shots and underwater. My biggest problem is staying still long enough to capture the subject. My bouyancy is good - it's the damn current that pulls me away. I have found the housing to be quite useful in the rain too.

When you get one, just remember to take it off preview mode!! I didn't!! I put it back in the housing, dove a wreck that sank off Antigua in the 1770s and couldn't take one damn picture. My husband was only slightly disappointed, whereas I was really PISSED (at myself)!
