Length of time it takes to travel from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo

I am trying to see if I should fly directly to Dubrovnik or if I can afford to go to Sarajevo for a few days also and need to work out exactly how long it takes to travel via Bus/Car/Train from Sarajevo (Bosnia) to Dubrovnik (Croatia). I only have 10 days in Europe, so I wouldn't want to waste a day in travel. I have looked at numerous websites and they are very conflicting... Some say 2 hours, others say 7 hours. Please help! Also, would you recommend traveling by car/train/bus?

Please only answer if you are 100% sure because I have had so many conflicting answers already

It takes approx 5 hours, but the reason you are getting such conflicting reports is because some trains/buses stop more than others,

Consider Mostar, its an amazing place to spend a night or 2 and about halfway between the two.
