Mandarin Oriental are always great as far as I know. When Pavarotti is in Germany he only stays overnight in the Mandarin Oriental in Munich, even if he has a gig in Hamburg he returns to Munich!

The Inter-Continental would be a good choice for a bit of pampering. My friend stayed there with his wife and said he it was out of this world. The Shangri-La has also been suggested.

hey thanks for all the advice. The oriental looks absolutely incredible but i think it is out of my range which is depressing. The intercontinental looks pretty good can get a room for 135 dollars a night which seems pretty good. Is it in a good location? i think that will probably be the one. Wish i could go for the oriental but seems a bit crazy in the price altho definatley looks worth it - when i am older and richer i will return.
thanks so much for all the help!
cheers

Just use your American Express or Diner's Club card. They may even be able to give you an executive discount.
