I produced a blog last year but had problem getting photos posted. I use an iPad and there was no easy way to add photos.
I'd like to give it a second try for an upcoming trip.
I've got a blog started that I'm testing on and I have some photos on the iPad.
I have two questions.
First, for some reason in the new blog, under the heading of Photography, there's a picture I took in Africa. How do I stop that picture from showing (this blog is for France where there are no lions)?
Second, how do I get photos inserted into the blog? Can I do it from my iPad film roll, or do I have to load them first to Flickr? And then how do I get them down?
Appreciate any help.
What kind of blog account do you have? Is it from blogger, wordpress, or something else?
It's a Travellerspoint blog. See it at France2012.travellerspoint.com
Hi Mike and Karen,
The photos on the right are your latest ones, so once you have a few new ones in your gallery those will show (on both your blogs). You can turn off the option to show photos in your blog navigation through the settings.
To upload from an iPad, you can use our mobile site at http://m.travellerspoint.com - it integrates with a third-party app that can handle the uploads. iOS basically makes it impossible to upload directly from the browser.
You can also upload to Flickr if you prefer. When you are inserting photos, there's an option there to login to your Flickr account and insert from there rather than the Travellerspoint gallery. Flickr photos won't show in your navigation though.
Hope that helps!
Thanks, I'll use Flickr. But, I have one related question. I sent an email to update the blog and attached a picture but it has not shown up. How long does it take email updates to post? I used the email address as given in my settings page.
