I know the 'Off Topic' list gets quite long, and that shows up in the latest threads...Is there a way to separate the two? So that Off Topic is only in Off Topic? Just seems like it might save some headaches for you. And that way us chatters (guilty:) )won't interfer with those seeking only travel related info.

You know, I just suggested this to Sam a couple of nights ago!

I'd be interested to know what others think. If we left the Off Topic and System Talk posts out of the All Threads forum, would this seem reasonable to everyone??

I was actually thinking about that the other day as well. It would definately be reasonable. Those who want travel info probably don't want to see a "what colour is the sky" thread or what not. This way, once they get their travel advice, they will be intrigued about the "off topic" and "system talk" boards and slowly, but surely, they will be ushered in. :)Maybe the "introductions" board, too?

YES!! I agree !

The "Off topic" and "Introduction" boards should be separated from the travel topics ;)

I find that if I don't check the board for 24 hrs, I have to go back 5 or 6 pages of topics, most of them not things I am really interested in reading.

Count one more hand up for the seperation. It's a good idea.

Agree with that completely.

However, it's probably worth having a link to off-topic as well, with a bit which says ...and for anything else non travel related see here (on the most recent post page)... or some such

And for system talk, if there are ongoing problems that NEEDS to become a tsickty at the top of the most recent posts, as opposed to buried within or removed completely. Otherwise people won't see it (assuming they still get that far) and think the site is failing/dead.

Hehehe, so funny since Pete and me were just discussing this the other day. Great minds think alike.... :)
