Dale, I'm hoping to go for about 6 or 7 months, I'll probably try and last as long as i can without getting a job and then maybe do some fruit picking or something because im sure that'll be pretty easy and fun if there's loads of us doing it.

Josh, not sure what makes it naughty but ok :) You should try and head out earlier

Haha nicely nicely, where's everyone from?
I'm living in Bournemouth atm but will probably be flying out from Heathrow

Anyone actually booked their flights or got their visa's yet?

I'm thinking of going over there around mid November, would be sweet to be in Syndey still for Christmas/New Years, but gotta see how long money would stretch before getting a job!

I live near Crawley, and would be flying from Heathrow too. Haven't booked a flight yet,as im not really to sure about dates..

I am looking at flying into Sydney late November, and have been really tempted by these ultimate oz arrival things.

Other then that i think sticking in Sydney till after new years would be cool then just travel up the east coast, but yeah gotta see how my money lasts..

I met people of all ages, mostly mid 20s but you will find a lot of German people aged 18 go travelling before studying and there are people who have just turned 30 (mostly English/ Irish men) who want to do it while they still can get a visa! But I can assure you, whatever peoples ages, nationalities and backgrounds EVERYONE you meet are so amazing and like-minded and so much fun! :D you will meet friends for life!

Hey dale, I live in Poole! So I'm about 5 minutes away from you. Havnt booked my visa or flights or anything. I'm a bit shit at organisation. I wait til my a levels are over in a couple of weeks then look into it all then.

Hey Ben, I had a look at the ultimate oz things too and they do look well good, but Im not sure if it's worth the money. But I imagine sydney at new year would be awesome :)
